Information on Using WebCT at UCSC
The web course tools in WebCT give you many powerful tools to enhance the interactivity in your class whether you use it to supplement a course taught mostly face-to-face or whether you use it to teach a course entirely (or mostly) at a distance. Here is some information to help you get started:
Requesting a WebCT Development Account
Fill out the WebCT Course Development Account Request Form, and you will soon receive a course development account on the WebCT server. If you have questions about this, please contact FITC by e-mailing fitc@ucsc.edu or calling (831) 459-5506. The request usually takes about two or three business days to process.

WebCT has a full featured on-line Help system built-in. This Help Menu is context sensitive, just give it a click while you are on the page/tool you want to learn more about. You may also want to visit the help.WebCT.com web site for various support materials, including:
